Announcement | Laos | Aristotle David Writes for New York University

ZICO Law Laos’ Managing Partner, Aristotle David has written an article on the ‘Legal System of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic’ in the Hauser Global Law School Program for New York University.

Aristotle is an international lawyer with over 17 years of legal experience and more than 11 years as a foreign legal advisor in Laos. He writes here on the recent years of improvement in the country’s legal system including its legislative framework, judicial mechanisms and public legal awareness so that it could strengthen the Rule of Law to promote economic development and advance its international and regional integration.

On 1 December 2022, KPMG and ZICO Law entered into an agreement under which a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined the KPMG network of firms.

The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations.
