Grit and Resilience: Khieu Mealy Featured in Cambodia’s Women Leaders Publication

Heartfelt congratulation to our partner Khieu Mealy, for being featured in Cambodia’s Women Leaders 21 Stories of Grit and Resilience publication.

Mealy shared her experience growing up middle-class family that had a strong emphasis on education. That support led her to achieve her dreams of becoming a lawyer. She recounted the joys and difficulties faced by having to lead a law firm while at the same time raising a family and donating her time to charitable organisations. Her advice to women is to believe in themselves, for no one can stop you from learning or thriving except yourself.

Cambodia’s Women Leaders 21 Stories of Grit and Resilience is published by Woomentum, a diverse, membership-based community providing network and resources to young entrepreneurs with the mission to support women entrepreneurs in initiating and fostering a sustainable and profitable companies. To empower new generation of young Cambodian women, this publication puts together inspiring stories of 21 women leaders who overcame various challenges in lives and became successful.

We would like to applaud Mealy and the other 20 women leaders in the publication for their achievements and relentless efforts to encourage young women in Cambodia in pursuing their big dreams.
