Indonesia | Entire team from Kandar & Partners joins Roosdiono & Partners, adding further strength

Award-winning corporate law firm, Kandar & Partners has joined Roosdiono & Partners (a member of ZICO Law) [R&P] as of 1 January 2018. With a team of seven, Fadjar Widjaksana Kandar joins R&P as Co-Executive Partner alongside Leoni Silitonga and heads the firm’s Projects & Resources practice group. Meanwhile, Partner Barryl Rolandi joins R&P’s Banking & Finance practice group, led by Leoni Silitonga.

Fadjar Kandar is a senior lawyer with 26 years of experience in the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors in Indonesia, having advised local and multinational companies from project development to project financing in various infrastructure projects including toll roads, water and electricity.

Barryl Rolandi is a leading banking lawyer with 16 years of experience including working in-house as Senior Legal and Compliance Officer at a large multinational Japanese financial institution. Both Fadjar and Barryl have been recognized by “Asialaw Profiles” as leading lawyers in Energy and Natural Resources and Banking & Finance respectively.

On 1 December 2022, KPMG and ZICO Law entered into an agreement under which a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined the KPMG network of firms.

The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations.
