Caera is a Senior Associate with Zaid Ibrahim & Co’s Projects, Infrastructure & Energy practice group. She has experience advising legal issues pertaining to project documentations in the energy and renewable energy sector, including advising on the development of coal-fired and gas-fired power plants and proposed development of waste-to-energy plant in Malaysia. Her work involves advising project promoters and multinational contractors on land reclamation, development of seafront projects and mixed development projects in Malaysia.
Her vast exposure also includes advising the government agencies on infrastructure project development and advising large corporations on solid waste and waste water operation, engineering and construction of manufacturing plants and also general corporate and commercial advisory work in relation to joint ventures and foreign investment in Malaysia.
Caera joined the firm as a Trainee Associate in 2012 under the firm’s structured Trainee Associate Programme. She began her legal career with the firm as an Associate in the Projects, Infrastructure & Energy practice group in 2013.
