Chee Kong’s work involves advising both the employer and the contractor in engineering and construction matters. Chee Kong is heavily involved in advising sponsors on the development, construction, operation and maintenance of projects in the private power generation, manufacturing and renewable energy industry. He also advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters.
Chee Kong joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co as a Trainee Associate in January 2013 under the firm’s structured Trainee Associate Programme. He began his legal career with the firm as an Associate in the Projects, Infrastructure and Energy practice group in November 2013 and later became a Senior Associate 2 in January 2016.
