ZICO Law’s Regional Prowess Shines in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2017 Rankings

ZICO Law’s regional approach and innovation in legal services continues to shine in ASEAN, achieving multiple top-tier rankings across several jurisdictions in the recent Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2017 Rankings.

The rankings; which aim to identify key players and market leaders within the legal industry, honoured ZICO Law member firms with six Tier 1 rankings in several key practice areas:

In all, ZICO Law was ranked eminently across 19 practice areas in Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia and Vietnam, receiving plaudits in practice areas such as Aviation, Corporate Commercial and M&A, IT Telco & Media, Labour & Employment as well as Real Estate & Construction.

ZICO Law practitioners were also lauded for their excellence and regional know how, with three lawyers recognised as ‘Leading Lawyers’ and 24 others recommended by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific for strong showings in 2016.

Announcement

On 1 December 2022, KPMG and ZICO Law entered into an agreement under which a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined the KPMG network of firms.

The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations. The strategic combination increases the total number of legal professionals in the KPMG network to over 3,750 across 84 jurisdictions. You may read the press release here.
