ZICO Law Caps Off the Year with Top Tier Recognition

We are delighted to announce that ZICO Law capped off the year with an outstanding performance in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2019 rankings, achieving 16 top-tier rankings and
18 ranked lawyers across 8 ASEAN jurisdictions.

Across the network, ZICO Law saw an improvement in firm rankings, and a rise in ranked lawyers, compared to previous years.

We are truly humbled by the commendation we have received from clients, who described the network of firms as “responsive and client-focused” with “unparalleled on-the-ground exposure across the ASEAN region“. The praise further underscores our legal network’s overall strategy to leverage on increased integration between offices, decisive business development, and effective training and knowledge management.

The legal network maintained top tier rankings in key practice areas such as Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Islamic Finance, and Corporate/M&A and received improved rankings in the areas of Projects, Infrastructure & Energy, and Employment & Industrial Relations as well as earning recognition in new categories such as Technology, Media, and Telecommunication. Our offices in Myanmar and Indonesia were also ranked for the first time by Chambers, underlying the growth in stature and reputation that both offices have experienced over the past few years.

Additionally, more of our lawyers have been recognised as leading lawyers across the region. Partners Khieu Mealy of Soksiphana&associates, Nuttaphol Arammuang of ZICO IP, Kevin Hawkins of ZICO Law Vietnam, and Felix Sy of Insights Philippines Legal Advisors joined a growing list of ZICO Law lawyers ranked by Chambers, having received strong praise from clients for their responsiveness and ability to deliver innovative and practical solutions.

As the premier go-to legal network in ASEAN, Chambers’ rankings reflect the network’s commitment to provide the very best legal advice and ensuring our teams are driven by market leading lawyers with a deep understanding of industry sectors and clear insights of regional nuances and local circumstances.
