ZICO Law Myanmar and Yulchon enter joint collaboration at ZICO Law Myanmar office

With South Korea being Myanmar’s fifth largest investor in 2017-18, and investments totalling US $254 million in sectors such as oil and gas, infrastructure, retail, and real estate, the economic bond between the two nations have never been stronger.

To help facilitate the surge of business between the two countries, ZICO Law Myanmar is pleased to announce a joint collaboration with Yulchon at the ZICO Law Myanmar office in Yangon, effective 2 May 2019.

Under the scope of the collaboration, ZICO Law Myanmar and Yulchon will be working closely together to provide an array of top notch legal services to Korea-based clients in Myanmar, and Myanmar-based clients in South Korea.

This initiative is in line with ZICO Law’s overall strategy to provide local grounding and regional insights to our clients across Southeast Asia.

Yulchon LLC is a prominent Korean law firm with 424 lawyers and other professionals in offices in Korea, Vietnam, China, and Russia. On 1 December 2022, KPMG and ZICO Law entered into an agreement under which a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined the KPMG network of firms.

The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations.
