Ajeng is an Intellectual Property (IP) specialist at Roosdiono & Partners. She has more than 10 years of experience. She advises and represents clients on various IP works, including protection, prosecution, litigation, due diligence, and transactional IP work such as licensing and franchising, and provides advisory and review of cooperation agreements in movie productions. She is also experienced in providing advice on data protection, and representing clients in commercial litigation and arbitration matters. Her landmark dispute cases are regarding the Indonesian National Arbitration Center’s trademark case, which is making headlines in Indonesia and the KOPITIAM case.
The practice has seen an increase in patent prosecution works, mainly works for GUANGDONG OPPO MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS CORP, LTD, which as up to now has more than 60 applications and ZTE CORPORATION. The practice group has also seen increased prosecution works, particularly works for the owner of ‘Hot Star’ brand, Warner Bros Inc., DC Comics, Industrias Galfer S.A., aiming to protect and enforce their IP rights in Indonesia.
Ajeng joined Roosdiono & Partners in January 2015 as a Senior Associate and was promoted as a partner in 2020. Prior to becoming a member of the firm, Ajeng was an associate at Panji Prasetyo & Partners Law Office for 3 years where she handled and represented numerous contentious trademark matters and litigation works, and was an associate at another law firm for 4 years, where she handled various trademark works.
