Bin Hau has assisted in numerous cross border corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporation restructuring exercises and foreign initial public offerings. His exposure also includes matters in relation to the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre. Bin Hau is also a key member of ZICOlaw’s China Desk and has assisted many Chinese companies investing in ASEAN.
Bin Hau started his career in legal practice at Beijing-based law firm in 2011 as foreign legal counsel. In June 2016, Bin Hau joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. under the firm’s Trainee Associate Programme. In April 2017, he was called to the Malaysian Bar and joined the firm as a Senior Associate. In January 2022, he was promoted to Partner in the Corporate Commercial practice group at Zaid Ibrahim & Co.’s main office in Kuala Lumpur.
