Yim Siew is a Senior Associate in the Commercial Business Department of Zaid Ibrahim & Co., Johor Bahru office.
Yim Siew advises on a diverse range of corporate and commercial transactions involving local and cross border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, foreign direct investment, regulatory compliance and has experience in various corporate and commercial agreements.
In addition, Yim Siew has advised on various corporate transactions involving capital markets and securities law. She has experience in corporate exercises involving quotation and listing of securities on Malaysian stock exchange and other stock exchanges, initial public offerings, equity capital raising exercises, derivatives, rights issue, exchange-traded funds and other collective investment schemes.
She also has experience in sale and purchase of properties, tenancies, leases and settlement agreements.
Yim Siew joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co, Kuala Lumpur office as a Trainee Associate in 2010 as part of the firm’s structured Trainee Associate Programme. Upon completion of her pupillage, Yim Siew was retained as an Associate in the Corporate Finance and Securities practice group in 2011. She was promoted to Senior Associate in 2014. She subsequently transferred to Zaid Ibrahim & Co.’s Johor Bahru office and as Senior Associate in 2017.
