Cheah Kuon is a Partner at Zaid Ibrahim & Co.’s Penang office.
She has experience in a diverse range of civil litigation matter including landlord and tenant disputes, contractual disputes, estates disputes, debt recovery and land acquisition. Cheah Kuon has also represented clients in quasi-criminal proceedings such as forfeiture of property under Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and prosecution under the Environmental Quality Act 1974.
Prior to joining the firm, she completed her pupillage at a Penang-based Malaysian law firm. After completing her pupillage, she joined another Malaysian law firm as an Associate. She joined Zaid Ibrahim & Co. as a Senior Associate in April 2013 and became Partner in January 2020.
