On 7 April 2020 the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training issued Notification No.012/20 on the Postponement of 2020 Khmer New Year Holiday.

The Notification informs all owners or directors of enterprises and institutions and employees covered under the provisions of the Labour Law that the Khmer New Year Holiday originally set down for 13, 14, 15 and 16 April 2020 will be postponed to later date.

The Royal Government has determined that the days-off will be altered to 5 days at a more appropriate time. The Ministry will notify the dates of the replacement days once the dates have been specifically determined by the Royal Government.
