Yong Hon Cheong, Partner of Zaid Ibrahim & Co. (a member of ZICO Law) will be participating in the 10th Annual Employment Law Asia Congress in Singapore.
The congress features legal service providers from 13 different countries and aims to serve as a practical guide for in-house legal counsels and HR to effectively navigate the regulatory and cultural complexities in employment law across 15 jurisdictions throughout Asia.
Yong will be discussing on the dos and don’ts for retrenchment exercises in Malaysia with his topic entitled “Employment Termination in Malaysia – Understanding and Managing Legal Risks”. Yong will also be part of a team giving free legal consultation in the Legal Clinic at the Congress.
The series also includes 6 separately bookable workshops between June to November 2016. Yong will be focusing on Malaysian employment law in his scheduled slot on 29 June 2016.
