We are pleased to announce that ZICO Law will be a proud participant of the upcoming In-House Congress Bangkok 2018. Taking place on the 7 June 2018 at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, the sixteenth edition of the congress will bring together a plethora of Thailand’s leading in-house lawyers, CEOs, company directors and compliance professionals from both the private and public sectors.

As co-hosts for the event, ZICO Law will be conducting an exclusive workshop entitled “Legal Challenges in Structuring Cross-Border Financing and the Taking of Security”. The workshop will feature key insights from our very own panel of ZICO Law regional experts including Partners Threenuch Bunruangthaworn (Thailand), Daron Wong (Cambodia), Geraldine Oh Kah Yan (Myanmar), Phuong Nguyen (Vietnam), and Senior Associate Aparat Sanpibul (Laos), as they share actual case studies and perspectives from private practitioners across the CLMVT countries. The panel will also feature the General Counsel of a notable regional bank as a guest speaker to provide an in-house banking perspective of our topic.

In addition to our workshop, ZICO Law Regional Managing Partner Hanim Hamzah will also be participating in the plenary discussion on “Women in Law: Women in In-House” which will feature discussions on mentorship and developing meaningful careers of women in law.

On 1 December 2022, KPMG and ZICO Law entered into an agreement under which a number of law firms and teams from the ZICO Law network have joined the KPMG network of firms.

The deal will see more than 275 lawyers join over 2,900 legal professionals in the KPMG global organization, creating a significant legal footprint across Asia. It will offer legal services and solutions, a globally connected legal services platform, and specialists who work with leading technology providers to modernize legal functions across organizations.
