Cess Principe is a Senior Associate in Laos. With experience working across Southeast Asia, her practice areas include corporate and commercial, energy and infrastructure, investment and project coordination, investment regulatory compliance, due diligence, contracts, labour, and business and human rights.

Career

Cess was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2006 and practiced in the Philippines until 2011. She has since worked in Southeast Asia in various capacities, serving as in-house lawyer for the largest operating hydropower company in Laos, lead trial monitor for the Khmer (native) Rouge Tribunal monitoring project of an international NGO in Cambodia, and research and project coordinator for a regional academic research institution based in Indonesia. She joined ZICO Law as a Senior Associate in August 2018.

  • Lifetime member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
  • Bachelor of Laws, University of the Philippines Diliman, Philippines
